Description

North Yorkshire Hospice Care is seeking a Volunteer Recruiter to support our Income Generation team. This exciting role involves recruiting volunteers across fundraising and retail, working closely with key team members to understand volunteering needs, prepare role descriptions, promote opportunities, and manage the recruitment and onboarding process.

Key responsibilities:
- Meet with Income Generation team members to assess volunteering requirements
- Prepare and update volunteer role descriptions
- Promote volunteer opportunities
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for new volunteers

Skills and qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in IT, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong administrative and research skills
- Understanding of data protection and GDPR
- Experience working with volunteers (desirable)
