Are you an experienced leader with a passion for aviation? We’re looking for a Pilot Manager to join our dynamic Flight Operations team and lead our exceptional pilots.
Role Purpose:
As a Pilot Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, guiding a team of pilots while overseeing recruitment, training, and professional development. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high standards of safety, and nurturing a culture of excellence within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead with Purpose: Manage and inspire a team of pilots, staying highly visible and accessible. Ensure the team remains motivated, engaged, and aligned with our company’s values.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, from attracting top talent to ensuring new pilots are seamlessly integrated into the team.
  • Performance Excellence: Manage pilot performance, set clear expectations, and drive continuous improvement through regular feedback and appraisals.
  • Compliance & Safety: Uphold the highest standards of safety, workflow, and quality compliance, ensuring that all procedures are followed meticulously.
  • Pilot Engagement: Foster strong relationships with pilots and support their professional growth, ensuring they are always equipped to succeed.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle any conflicts or disciplinary actions with empathy and fairness, ensuring company policies are followed and team harmony is maintained.
  • Cultural Alignment: Develop and promote a cohesive company culture where pilots feel valued, respected, and proud to be part of the team.
  • Support Training: Collaborate with the Nominated Person for Crew Training to ensure pilots and cabin crew receive the best training and continuous development.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure operational safety requirements are met by maintaining up-to-date procedures and overseeing compliance monitoring.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven leadership experience within aviation or similar environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • A deep understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in managing recruitment, performance, and training processes.
