Why Corbenic?

Be part of a caring, values-driven charity where every team member is valued and supported.

Work closely with residents in a calm, peaceful night-time environment, building trust and providing reassurance when it’s needed most.

Play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and nurturing home while the community rests.

No experience? No problem! We welcome anyone with the right values, compassion, and enthusiasm.

The Role – Waking Night Support Worker

We currently have vacancies for Waking Night Support Workers within the community. These are permanent positions, with days and hours to be agreed with Care & Support, including weekends. The rate of pay for this role is £14.98 per hour.

The role involves providing person-centred support to residents during night-time hours, ensuring their safety, comfort and wellbeing. This includes completing regular checks, supporting with personal care where required, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records and handovers.

We welcome interest from individuals seeking a range of working patterns, and will consider all options, including those wishing to work one or two nights rather than full-time hours.

You will also:

  • Work closely with house teams and the wider Care & Support team
  • Support residents in line with their individual care plans and communication needs
  • Help maintain a clean, safe and homely environment through light domestic duties
  • Work towards achieving your SVQ3 (funded by us!) and meet SSSC registration requirements
