Are you a natural leader with a cool head under pressure and a passion for aviation? We’re looking for an experienced and confident Duty Manager to take charge of Aurigny’s ground handling operations at London Gatwick.

This is more than just a job on the ground — you’ll be the driving force behind our On-Time Performance (OTP), the face of our airline during disruptions, and the go-to decision-maker on shift. In short, when you’re on duty, you’re in command.

📍 Location: London Gatwick
📅 Hours: Shift-based, including weekends and holidays
📢 Reports to: Ground Operations Management

💼 What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead and oversee all turnaround operations, ensuring on-time performance targets are met
Ensure full compliance with safety, security, and company policies
Manage and motivate ground handling teams during live operations
Act as the senior Aurigny representative with Gatwick Airport authorities and third-party partners
Take charge during disruption, diversions, and irregular operations, making decisions quickly and effectively
Keep accurate shift logs, incident reports, and communication records

5+ years of experience in aviation or airport operations
3+ years in a team leadership role within a high-pressure, time-critical environment
Strong leadership presence with clear communication and decision-making skills
