Location: Guernsey
Reporting to: Head of People and Culture
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented People Administrator to join our People and Culture team in Guernsey. This is a vital role supporting the effective delivery of payroll, benefits administration, HR data management, compliance, and wider people operations across the organisation.
Working closely with the People Officer, Talent Officer, and Head of People and Culture, you will ensure HR processes run smoothly, accurately, and in full compliance with employment and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Adjustments and Benefits Administration
- Process payroll adjustments accurately and within required deadlines.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrolments, changes, and terminations.
- Respond to employee queries relating to payroll and benefits, providing clear and timely guidance.
HR Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HR system.
- Produce HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and compliance.
- Ensure the confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of all HR data.
Compliance and Regulatory Support
- Support compliance with employment legislation, immigration regulations, and population management requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of documentation required for regulatory purposes.
- Keep up to date with changes in employment law and ensure organisational practices remain compliant.
HR Administration and Team Support
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the People Officer, Talent Officer, and Head of People and Culture.
- Prepare and administer employment contracts, letters, and contractual documentation in line with approved processes.
- Coordinate HR meetings, interviews, and training sessions.
- Prepare and distribute HR communications and documentation as required.
- Undertake any other duties as directed by the Head of People and Culture.
Essential Criteria
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using HR systems and software.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and benefits administration.
- Understanding of employment law, immigration regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in an HR or People administration role.
- Experience or understanding of the airline or transportation industry.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
