Description
TFT, the leading independent firm of Development, Built Asset & Engineering and Sustainability consultants, is seeking a Geomatics Surveyor/Senior Surveyor to join our London office.
Job Purpose:
As a Geomatics Surveyor/Senior Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the growth of TFT's Geomatics service line. You'll be responsible for managing a range of survey deliverables, with a focus on survey data capture and survey drawing production. This role involves supporting and mentoring junior staff while actively promoting the service line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote geomatics activities to existing and potential clients
- Manage and coordinate surveying and technical aspects of projects
- Produce high-quality measured survey drawings/models
- Share knowledge and best practices with TFT staff and subcontractors
- Support the growth and expansion of Geomatics services at TFT
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualification relevant to Geomatics, Surveying and/or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Geomatics/Measured survey industry
- Strong knowledge of Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and LiDAR scanners
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, N4CE (or similar), Revit, and Leica's Cyclone suite
- Experience in producing measured building and topographical surveys
- Knowledge of RICS Measured Surveys guidelines
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel UK-wide
