Description

Just 'B' Schools Service is seeking Trainee Counsellors to join our team in supporting children and young people's emotional wellbeing within school settings. This is an excellent opportunity for those pursuing a career in counselling to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-to-one support sessions with children and young people
- Use various tools and activities to encourage expression and emotional management
- Attend external supervision and monthly contact with the Children's Service Manager
- Commit to regular weekly sessions during term time

We're Looking For:
- Individuals with a genuine interest in supporting children and young people
- Empathetic and reflective candidates with good communication skills
- Basic IT proficiency
- Understanding of children and young people safeguarding
- Eagerness to learn new theories and direct working skills

Hours: 3.75 hours (half a day) per week, plus 1 hour per month for contact/supervision
