Sales & Partnership Manager – Drive Growth with Host
At Host, we don’t just provide student accommodation – we create thriving communities where students can feel happy, safe and supported throughout their university journey. Our mission? To be the best – and that starts with brilliant people like you.
We’re on the lookout for a Sales & Partnership Manager to join our Commercial Team. This is a field-based role with travel across the UK and regular collaboration with our central and site teams.
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 09:00am and 17:30pm. Salary will be £40,000-45,000 dependent on your experience and responsibilities.
Why Join Us?
We’re growing fast, but we’re not just about filling rooms – we’re about people. Our team is passionate, open, and driven by our values: Happy, Open, Secure and Trusted. We believe in creating exceptional communities where students can thrive – and that means making sure our sales approach reflects the same care, quality, and integrity as our resident experience.
As Sales & Partnership Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in maximising occupancy, driving revenue, and building relationships with the agents and partners who help connect students to Host. You’ll also shape our sales culture across the business, training teams, setting standards, and ensuring every enquiry is handled with consistency and care.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Sales & Partnership Manager, you’ll:
• Lead sales and revenue performance – setting rents, pricing strategies, and occupancy plans across the portfolio.
• Build and manage partnerships with third-party agents and booking partners, negotiating terms and holding them accountable for delivery.
• Analyse competitor activity and market trends, turning insight into action to keep Host ahead of the curve.
• Provide data and reporting to support decision-making, investor updates, and commercial performance reviews.
• Train site teams on sales processes, enquiry handling and conversion best practice – embedding consistency across the business.
• Run a mystery shopping programme to measure service quality and improve results.
• Support new site mobilisations, managing sales enquiries until site teams are ready to take over.
• Contribute to new business tenders, providing market analysis, rent assumptions, and sales forecasts to support Host’s growth.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with:
• Strong experience in sales, revenue management, or commercial roles – ideally in PBSA, residential, or hospitality.
• A proven track record of managing agents and partnerships to deliver occupancy and revenue targets.
• Excellent data analysis skills and commercial acumen – able to turn numbers into strategy.
• Confidence in training, coaching, and supporting teams to raise sales standards.
• Experience contributing to tenders and new business opportunities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• A proactive, analytical and solutions-focused approach, with high attention to detail.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for driving results.
What’s in It for You?
At Host, we know that happy teams create the best student experiences. Here’s what you’ll get in return:
• Career growth – we invest in training and development to help you reach your potential.
• A great work culture – friendly, supportive and built on trust.
• A role with purpose – making a real difference in students’ lives.
• Competitive salary & benefits – because great work deserves great rewards.
Benefits include:
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• An extra day off for your birthday
• An extra day off annually for volunteering
• Life insurance
• Access to our Employee Assistance Programme
• Plus, all the standard stuff like a pension & cycle to work scheme
