Join Our Team as a General Fundraising Volunteer!

Want to make a difference in your local community while meeting new people and learning new skills?
Join our fantastic Fundraising Team and help Barnsley Hospice continue providing specialist care and support for hundreds of local people and their families each year.

What you’ll do

No two days are the same! You might:

  • Prepare tombolas, event packs, and raffle prize requests
  • Support with stock takes and marketing materials
  • Help with admin tasks like photocopying, scanning, and filing
  • Keep our Fundraising Office organised and welcoming
  • Count and check donations
  • Call fellow volunteers to arrange event coverage
  • Thank our wonderful donors by phone
  • Attend community events to deliver cheque presentations and celebrate supporters
