Location: Hixon, Staffordshire

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm, Friday 8:30am–2:00pm

Salary: Competitive (plus bonus scheme)

The Role

We’re looking for a New Product Development Engineer to join our growing team. Reporting to the NPD Manager, you’ll be responsible for the research and justification, design, development and project management of products in line with the requirements of the new projects plan.

Key Responsibilities

·         Conduct market research and build business cases

·         Design and develop products from concept to prototype and production

·         Manage project costs and timelines

·         Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams

·         Produce manufacturing/assembly drawings and Bills of Materials

·         Run product testing programmes

·         Support DFMEA activities and engineering system improvements

What We’re Looking For

·         Experience managing multiple product design projects

·         Proficiency in 3D CAD and ERP/data management systems

·         Knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g. sheet metal, extrusion, injection moulding)

·         Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

·         Innovative mindset with a proactive approach

·         Team player with a collaborative attitude
