Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this role is central to the smooth operation of the sales function. You will support our external sales team, engage with customers and suppliers, and ensure that quotations, orders and CRM data are managed accurately and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and wants to build experience in a commercial, technical business.
Key Responsibilities

- Prepare quotations, process sales orders and manage associated documentation
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers regarding product availability, sourcing and delivery timelines
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, supporting long‑term loyalty and repeat business
- Engage with prospective customers and manage inbound sales enquiries
- Maintain and update the CRM system, logging correspondence and managing follow‑ups
- Produce reports on sales orders and service activity, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
- Work closely with colleagues across sales, service, logistics and finance to support end‑to‑end delivery
- Assist with CRM and process improvement projects to enhance how the team operates
About You
- A relevant third‑level qualification and minimum two years’ experience in an administrative, sales support or customer‑facing role within a busy environment
- A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- IT‑proficient, with experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and CRM systems
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- A proactive team player with a positive, “can‑do” attitude who can also work on their own initiative
Previous experience in a sales or technical environment is an advantage, but not essential.
