Description

We a looking for caring practitioner with energy and enthusiasm together with understanding of EYFS requirements. You need to be able to plan, organise and deliver a holistic range of services to children and their families and work alongside them to encourage them to play with their children.

Fixed Term Until: 31^st March 2026

Job purpose: YMCA East Surrey is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioner with energy and motivation to plan, lead and deliver targeted play opportunities and support groups for children 0 up to 12 years and their parents at YMCA Red Oak Family Centre.

Hours of work: 28 hours per week working 9:00 – 15:00 on Mon/Tues/Wed and Thurs/Fri 9:30-14:30

Location: The Red Oak Family Centre, Merstham

Salary: £20, 252 per annum plus holiday pay

Annual leave: 5 weeks per annum plus bank holidays. (Pro-rata for part time). The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.

Benefits: The post holder will be entitled to free use of the YMCA East Surrey fitness centre in Redhill and half price YMCA childcare for dependents. There is free parking available at the Princes Road site and YMCA East Surrey also operates a Bike to Work Scheme. There is a YMCA East Surrey defined contribution pension scheme.
