We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join our forward-thinking graphics and signage division based in Hixon, Staffordshire.
The Company
HEX Signs & Graphics, part of The HEX Group, are an established signs and graphics business based in Hixon, Stafford and we work with some of the UK’s leading businesses to deliver large scale graphics projects. From vehicle rebranding and fleet livery, through to wall wraps, events and venue branding, HEX Graphics has the scale and expertise to meet the needs of every brief, however complex.
The Role
Reporting to our Sales & Marketing Director, our New Business Development Manager will be responsible for the generation of new business sales in line with our sales strategy that will lead to growth across this division.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and secure new vehicle livery revenues from agreed target markets in line with the company’s growth and profit aspirations.
· Provide hands-on leadership of key sales opportunities for the Hex Graphics business.
· Develop strong working relationships with the Hex Graphics management team demonstrating an appreciation of operational procedures and challenges.
· Working with the Sales Director to identify and develop new market sectors in line with the graphics strategic plan, including non-traditional areas of vinyl activity such as paint protection film (PPF), prestige car wrapping and architectural applications.
· Own and develop the prospect universe for commercial fleet operators (vans and trucks), working with the Sales and Account teams to progress new graphic opportunities both within the Bri-Stor customer base and with external prospects.
· Manage and develop the new business relationship with leasing companies, ensuring good understanding of relevant contact points for decision makers and influencers, working in conjunction with Bri-Stor sales and account staff where necessary.
· Qualification and cleansing of prospect data, working with the marketing team and other internal support colleagues to maximise sales activity, including appointment making and factory visits.
· Maintain a regular flow of in-person customer meetings, either in the field or at the factory.
· Provide a focal point of contact for tender enquiries, managing quotations and general workflow assignments to ensure submitted bids are compliant and on time.
· Represent the business with vinyl manufacturers and other key suppliers, developing broad knowledge of the market place, including competitors.
· Ensure accurate CRM data input and record keeping using Monday.com for all new prospects.
· Develop a detailed understanding of the specifications required for each new customer and maintain accurate notes covering all livery requirements.
· Work closely with the costing and visualisations teams, ensuring that all quotations and specifications match customer requirements and are line with agreed margin levels.
To be successful in this role the candidate will have the following experience:
· At least 3 years of experience in the graphics and signage industry
· Proven experience in a target driven new business sales role
· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Strong relationship building skills
· High level of communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to influence at all levels
· Excellent written and verbal skills
· Flexible and can-do attitude
