Description

RKW Ltd's Finance Function has a vacancy for a Group Financial Accountant. We would specifically like to speak to ACA / ACCA Qualified (or near-qualified) professionals, ideally from an Audit background, or with detailed practical experience in financial audit processes and regulations.

You will report to the Group Financial Controller, providing Advisory input and work in conjunction with the Management Accounts team to ensure compliance and timely completion of Financial Reporting.

 

Key Purpose: To provide technical assistance within the finance department, ensuring the accurate and timely production of accounting information.  Supporting the business units providing financial insights, analysis and strategic guidance to support decision making.

 

Desirable Attributes: A person with an analytical approach, good communication skills a team focused attitude and a strong understanding of accounting principles, would suit a newly qualified Accountants’ initial step into an in-house role.

The role will cover each of the businesses under the SVG banner.

 

Duties:

  • Preparing and analysing Group Consolidation files for a multi-entity reporting structure
  • Analyse and interpret financial data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Advise on cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements
  • Review of Balance Sheet Control Accounts
  • Quarterly Vat Returns / Tax submission to HMRC
  • International Vat Returns
  • Support the development and improvement of financial systems, process and reporting
  • Auditing and Internal Controls
  • Support in the preparation of Budgets and Forecasts
  • Payroll support
  • Ad-Hoc analysis/ONS Reports

 

Applicants with a track record of using Microsoft Dynamics / D365 systems – and / or Power Bi would be at an advantage, but full training can be provided.
