Production Planner – Hex Graphics

What You’ll Be Doing
As our Production Planner, you’ll be at the heart of our operations—ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and on time. You’ll work closely with internal teams and customers to bring projects to life, from planning materials to coordinating labour and managing timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Book Management

  • Create and maintain bill of materials
  • Track vehicle completion using collection reports
  • Update records for completed vehicles

Production Planning

  • Build monthly production plans using order book data
  • Generate material requirements and work-to lists
  • Keep the production plan updated daily

Label & Application Planning

  • Develop and maintain label plans weekly
  • Create and adjust application plans based on vehicle availability
  • Assign tag numbers and coordinate offsite work (including overnight stays)

Application Capacity

  • Monitor resource availability and plan accordingly
  • Manage contractor hours, holidays, and purchase orders
  • Ensure accurate invoicing and sufficient labour for scheduled work

General Operations

  • Liaise with customers to confirm requirements and deadlines
  • Organise labour based on production and application plans
  • Keep SAGE systems updated and KPIs refreshed twice weekly
  • Manage the team inbox and lead daily morning meetings
  • Support the Graphics Operations Manager with monthly presentations
  • Handle general day-to-day enquiries

What We’re Looking For

  • A confident communicator and team player
  • Exceptionally organised and detail-oriented
  • Experienced in planning roles (ideally in a production environment)
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-moving setting
  • Skilled at prioritising and staying calm under pressure
