AIM Support – Little Harvard Childcare
Location: Santry, Dublin | Part-Time | 9:15AM-3:15PM
Little Harvard Santry is currently seeking an AIM Support to join our inclusive and child-focused team. This is a part-time role supporting a child with additional needs under the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) within our ECCE preschool room.
We’re looking for a kind, patient and reliable individual who is passionate about inclusion and early years education.
About the Role
As an AIM Support, you will work alongside our educators to ensure a child with additional needs is fully included in the preschool environment. Your role will focus on supporting their participation, communication, and overall development in a warm and nurturing way.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the inclusion and active participation of a child with additional needs in the ECCE room
- Collaborate closely with the Room Leader and Early Years Educators
- Follow tailored strategies and routines based on professional guidance
- Promote independence and positive social interactions
- Communicate regularly with the team and maintain accurate, confidential records
- Ensure compliance with Tusla and Little Harvard policies
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, calm and positive approach to working with children
- Previous experience in a childcare or special education setting preferred
- Minimum Level 5 QQI qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education
- Knowledge of inclusive practice and child development
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
