We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join our Sales Team on a perm contract Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30pm at our state of the art manufacturing facility in Tamworth. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's continued growth.

How you will make the difference:

As our internal Sales Coordinator you will work in partnership with a portfolio of customers providing exceptional consultative insights (of the account history and purchasing trends) to anticipate specific customer needs and increase sales. You will enhance the customer experience and support their business by proactively identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling.

Responsibilities 

  • Contribute towards company targets by way of meeting and/or exceeding set sales targets as an individual and contributing to the teams.

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success by developing positive relationships with customers. Act as a consultative partner to anticipate customers’ current and future needs to generate orders.

  • Follow up samples and quotations, converting these to sales.

  • Ensure accounts are constantly aware of active promotions available, follow up and generate new business through own initiative, social media and marketing activity to increase sales. 

  • Resolve conflicts, take ownership and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.

  • Manage a dedicated Area Sales Managers diary; ensuring customers are visited on a regular basis.

  • Use internal tools and systems, to manage the day to day running of your data, ensure systems are maintained and updated at all times.

  • Liaising with other departments including Transport, Accounts, Marketing, Laboratory and Production.

  • Create KPI and tracker reports as required by business.

  • Undertakes duties in accordance with all relevant management systems and controls.

  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for personal growth in order to promote products with greater understanding and confidence

What you will need:
  • Proven experience of working in an internal Sales Coordinator role
  • Ability to deliver excellent consultative advice to improve the customer experience and their business to generate sales
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and rapport building skills. Ability to translate customer account history into opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell.
  • Knowledge of CRM software (or equivalent) and MS Office, (MS Excel in particular)
  • Problem solving with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly relating to data entry
  • Committed to ongoing learning / training to build knowledge and understanding
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to deliver projects and answer enquiries on time
