Description
As a Transfer Coordinator you will be playing a key role within the operations of the company and be responsible for, but not limited to:
· Coordinate the transfer of equipment between MBSE HQ and various group locations.
· Work with and action requests from the Management Operations Group to ensure stock availability for transfers.
· Work closely with various stakeholders to arrange transfer schedules between locations.
· Efficiently manage working area to ensure inbound and outbound transfers are segregated and routed correctly.
· Ensuring all transfers bookings are correctly entered in OPTRAX and the Shipping team are provided adequate time and information relating to international transfers.
· Resolve any internal transfer-related issues, such as delays and damages.
· Communicate with internal teams to provide updates on transfer status.
· Assist in conducting periodic audits of inventory transfers to maintain accuracy.
· Identify areas for improvement in the transfer process and implement best practices.
· Assist the Departmental and Returns teams with equipment processing when needed.
· Own and efficiently control transfer jobs, including generation, closedown and query resolution.
· Support/cover during periods of absence and peak workload the Returns Coordinator.
· “Triage” equipment destined for repair and process onto repairs tickets.
· Route inbound transfers to the correct department, highlighting urgent or specific equipment to the correct individual or team.
· Liaising with the Management Operations Group and Inventory team to identify, flag and rectify any anomalous stock or system inaccuracies as they arise.
· Demonstrating a positive approach to the company whilst reacting to the high demands of the business.
· Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines whilst adhering to the priorities of the business.
· Originating and contributing to documentation for training purposes, to include procedures and competency skillsets.
Health & Safety:
· Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies relating to safe loading practices.
· At all times maintain clear pedestrian and evacuation routes through the warehouse.
· Escalate areas of concern through the right channels.
· Support the Management Team to ensure that all health and safety policies are followed such as fire evacuation procedures and accident/near miss reporting.
Quality Control:
· Ensure that all items are correctly scanned to the correct job every time.
· To complete all quality checks to ensure all transfers are sent out and received accurately.
· To complete and ensure all company procedures when put in place are followed when it comes to additional QC checks and double scanning procedures.
Essential Skills:
· Must be IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft office software.
· Good understanding of operating systems such as RT Pro inventory tracking system, Microsoft Teams
· Good communication skills
· Adaptable and willingness to learn.
· Flexible to work overtime and occasional weekends as the needs to the business require.
