Description
OBW Technologies Ltd is the leading national provider of portable and fixed gas detection sensors and solutions in Ireland. As a growing business operating in safety‑critical and regulated environments, we pride ourselves on quality, reliability, and strong customer focus. We are now seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our fast‑paced, dynamic, and growing team. This is a hands‑on role with responsibility for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products to meet customer and business needs.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation of the warehouse, workshop, and demo room, ensuring that goods are received, inspected, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. The role requires a detail‑focused, organised individual who values quality, safety, and customer service.
This position suits an experienced supply chain or warehouse professional who enjoys working in a structured environment and contributing to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, workshop, and demo room
- Carry out order picking, stock control, and general warehouse duties
- Receive, inspect, and register all deliveries and customer returns accurately in the ERP system (Priority)
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials to ensure quality and compliance
- Manage supplier returns and follow up as required
- Coordinate all customer shipments, including packing, shipping documentation, liaising with couriers, and confirming delivery details with customers
- Administer stock control and maintain optimal inventory levels to support daily sales and operational requirements
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies, and quality procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, processes, and efficiency, and support implementation of improvements
- Maintain and continuously improve Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate picking
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene, ensuring all areas are kept clean, safe, and free from debris
- Carry out additional reasonable duties as requested by the Warehouse Manager or line manager
Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Previous experience working in a fast‑paced warehouse or packaging environment
- Leaving Certificate or relevant Diploma
- Strong organisational, technical, and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong customer‑focused mindset
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and achieve targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience using ERP systems
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong awareness of quality systems, processes, and procedures
- Ability to occasionally lift items of up to 40 lbs
- Full clean driving licence

- Experience working within a regulated or safety‑critical environment
