Heavy Crane Coordinator

Due to recent growth, we are looking for a Heavy Crane Coordinator to join us with the willingness to learn. You will be responsible day-to-day for the control, planning and allocation of our heavy cranes; this is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.   

 

Responsibilities for a Heavy Crane Coordinator:   

  • Project administration related to heavy cranes, ensuring all operator/vehicle passes and site inductions are valid and recorded 
  • Coordinating with stakeholders and maintaining regular communication   
  • Regular communication with internal and external teams to ensure alignment with all expectations  
  • Compile and distribute operator job packs with up-to-date customer/site-specific RAMS and relevant documentation 
  • Maintain a working knowledge of heavy crane fleet to support operational activities and customer interactions 
  • Assisting the operations team with maintaining full vehicle and crane compliance, including monitoring, examinations and servicing 

 

Requirements for a Heavy Crane Coordinator:  

  • Experience in an operations or admin support role within logistics, heavy haulage or general haulage   
  • Familiarity with vehicle and equipment compliance requirements (e.g., servicing schedules, daily/weekly checks, LOLER, PUWER regulations)  
  • IT literate and familiar with Microsoft Office products   
  • Ability to use own initiative for problem-solving  
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures in an industrial or site-based environment  
  • Strong resilience and able to work under pressure
