Description

The Role: As Quality Supervisor will be responsible for conducting quality internal audits, monitoring the quality, food safety and food legality our of products, developing, implementing, and improving procedures ensuring quality control measures are adhered to. The   postholder will manage the shift QC Team, including leading and developing the QC Team.

Your Duties:

·         Manage the site shift QC team.

·         Ensure the shift QC team conduct all tasks in the correct manner.

·         Assisting in managing the site BRCGS and relevant Customer systems, standards, and on-site audits.

·         Carrying out weekly WIBIT panels.

·         Carrying out daily PH meter calibrations and monthly chemical concentration checks.

·         Collecting of additional samples against micro, shelf life and factory trials.

·         Carrying out hand swabbing and environmental swabbing as and when required.

·         Ensuring the QC team conduct daily ATP swabbing.

·         Conducting audits to pre-requisite schedules.

·         Ensuring timely completion and review of all relevant paperwork.

·         Ensuring that the factory GMP standards are maintained at the highest level in all areas.

·         Assisting NPD in new product trials and launches.

·         Carrying out investigations including root cause on internal non-conformances and any customer complaints received.

·         Raising internal non conformances where required.

·         Promoting customer value and loyalty.

·         Providing regular quality KPI data to management when requested.

·         Liaising and reporting to the Technical and Quality Managers on a regular basis to ensure effective communications are developed and maintained.

·         Creating, developing, and maintaining effective working relationships with internal departments.

·         Informing the Quality Managers of any relevant staffing issues.

·         Training and motivating all staff on health and safety procedures, food safety procedures etc on an ongoing basis.

·         Actively promote a healthy, clean, safe, secure and productive working environment.

  •          Excellent planning and organising skills.
  •                 IT Literate
  •          Experience working within Quality Department team within a food industry.
