Volunteer Administrator

 

Location: Harrogate based (Crimple House, Hornbeam Park)

Hours: All hours considered

Are you organised, compassionate, and looking to make a difference in your community? Join Saint Michael’s Hospice in our Hospice and Client Services Team as a Volunteer Administrator!

 

This rewarding role involves supporting our team with vital administrative tasks to help ensure the smooth delivery of care to patients and their families. You’ll assist with maintaining records, preparing documents, coordinating appointments, and other administrative duties that make a real impact.

 

What we’re looking for:

 

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and databases.
  • A compassionate, empathetic approach with an understanding of confidentiality.

Getting started:

 

  • Please complete a volunteer application form – available on our website.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a volunteer interview.
  • If you are successful at interview, we will ask you to complete training via our online system training platform.
  • We will complete a DBS check and ask you to provide some information before you begin volunteering.
  • Once these steps are completed we will agree your start date.
