Project Manager

We have a long-term project with Hinkley point, where we are looking for a capable and experienced project manager to support with the project planning and delivery. Responsibilities for a Project Manager:
- Contract Management, ensuring we deliver agreements based on the terms and billing appropriately
- Full end to end project delivery, delivering in line with the ‘project process’ ensuring quality and risk management
- Proactive communication to SLT about project delivery and any hiccups
- Negotiating project costs and purchasing smartly to avoid excess cost
- Ensure each project has all necessary engineering documentation produced to a high standard and peer reviewed before execution.
- Ensure positive proactive relationships are maintained and cultivated with clients.
- Support with tendering activities, internally and externally in a timely and efficient manner.
- Effectively manage client relationships and cultivate new agreements and partnerships
Requirements for a Project Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrable experience in full delivery of multi-modal projects (land and marine)
- Detailed understanding heavy lift operations
- Understanding of core project management principles
- Proficient in ISO and industry quality standards.
- Technical ability to imagine and create solutions
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft office packages
- Self-Motivated and self-managed, with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Quality and detail focused
- Able to solve ad-hoc problems rapidly
