Project Manager

Responsibilities for a Project Manager: 

  • Contract Management, ensuring we deliver agreements based on the terms and billing appropriately  
  • Full end to end project delivery, delivering in line with the ‘project process’ ensuring quality and risk management 
  • Proactive communication to SLT about project delivery and any hiccups  
  • Negotiating project costs and purchasing smartly to avoid excess cost  
  • Ensure each project has all necessary engineering documentation produced to a high standard and peer reviewed before execution.  
  • Ensure positive proactive relationships are maintained and cultivated with clients. 
  • Support with tendering activities, internally and externally in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Effectively manage client relationships and cultivate new agreements and partnerships  

 

 

Requirements for a Project Manager: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification 
  • Demonstrable experience in full delivery of multi-modal projects (land and marine)  
  • Detailed understanding heavy lift operations  
  • Understanding of core project management principles  
  • Proficient in ISO and industry quality standards. 
  • Technical ability to imagine and create solutions  
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft office packages  
  • Self-Motivated and self-managed, with the ability to work autonomously 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  
  • Quality and detail focused  
  • Able to solve ad-hoc problems rapidly
