Description

An opportunity to join our wonderful, community-focused preschool at the YMCA Sovereign Centre or YMCA Merstham Hub, which was recently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. We are looking for individuals who are experienced and passionate about working in Early Years to join our caring and committed team.

Job purpose: The Early Years Educator/Practitioner will deliver the highest quality of care and curriculum in line with Ofsted guidelines. They will inspire by delivering an exciting, child-led, play-based curriculum. They will also be expected to assist the Pre-School Manager in identifying areas of development and work in cooperation with a view to creating an outstanding Pre-School.

Hours of work: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 15:00, term time only

Location: YMCA Pre-School, Sovereign Centre, Slipshatch Road, Reigate RH2 8HA or YMCA Merstham Hub Pre-School, Portland Drive, Merstham, Surrey RH1 3HY

Salary / pay rate: Early Years Educator Level 3 Qualified, £12.33 per hour plus paid annual leave allowance. Early Years Practitioner £11.44 per hour plus paid annual leave allowance. 

Benefits: The post holder will be entitled to free use of the YMCA East Surrey fitness centre in Redhill and half-price YMCA childcare for dependents. There is free parking available at all sites.
