Description
OBW Technologies Ltd, the leading national provider of portable and fixed gas detection sensors and solutions in Ireland is currently looking to hire a Warehouse Co-ordinator to join their fast-paced, dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all the receiving and shipment of products in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
The successful applicant will be an experienced Warehouse co-ordinator with previous experience complying with Quality and H&S processes and procedures. They will be a result driven candidate, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks, and have excellent attention to detail and Customer Focus.
- Ensure the smooth running of the warehouse, workshop and demo room. Duties involve order picking, stock control, and general warehouse duties
- Ensure all deliveries and customer returns are received and registered into the ERP system (Priority).
- Inspection of incoming and outgoing material
- Manage supplier returns.
- Responsible for all customer shipments, involving co-ordinating delivery with the customer, packing, shipping documentation and liaising with the courier for expedient delivery.
- Administering stock control. Ensuring the optimal inventory levels of goods are maintained, in order to fulfil daily sales needs.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Develop, implement and continuously make improvements to layout, processes etc.
- Continuous improvement of BOM's to ensure accuracy of picks.
- Housekeeping and Hygiene – ensuring that all designated areas are kept free of debris and breakages, using appropriate equipment.
- Any others ad-hoc duties as requested by your manager
Experience & Qualifications needed
- Previous experience working in a high-paced warehouse/packaging environment.
- Leaving Certificate or Diploma.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook) and have had previous experience with ERP System’s.
- Able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
- Full clean driving licence. Safe pass and manual handling qualifications desirable.
- Counterbalance forklift license required
- Written and spoken English fluency.
- Keen Awareness of Quality processes and procedures.
- Ability to multi-task, work to deadlines, achieve targets and prioritise.
