As Brand Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of the branded portfolio, working at the intersection of brand strategy, commercial performance, creativity and execution.

This is a role for someone who wants real responsibility, visible impact, and the chance to put their stamp on a growing Irish brand.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Brand Manager is accountable for building brand awareness, brand equity and commercial performance across the Deli Lites branded portfolio, spanning sandwiches, wraps, salads, bakery and adjacent food-to-go categories.

You will own the brand vision, brand plans, marketing budgets and commercial KPIs for the branded portfolio, translating long-term ambition into sharp annual strategies and high-performing monthly execution. You will be both strategic and hands-on, equally comfortable shaping direction and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy, Awareness & Equity

  • Lead the development and delivery of annual brand strategies aligned to the ambition of becoming Ireland’s No.1 food-to-go brand.
  • Build strong, distinctive brand positioning that drives awareness, preference and trust across NI, ROI and future UK channels.
  • Champion brand consistency and excellence across all touchpoints product, packaging, POS, digital, social, PR and activation.
  • Establish clear brand equity metrics and ensure they are tracked, reported and actively grown over time. 

Commercial Ownership & Performance

  • Take ownership of brand P&Ls, marketing budgets and marketing investment decisions, ensuring spend is aligned to commercial priorities.
  • Establish and manage the annual marketing budget, with disciplined monthly tracking, forecasting and reporting.
  • Deliver monthly brand commercial reporting that is action-orientated clearly highlighting risks, opportunities and recommended corrective actions to deliver KPIs.
  • Ensure all marketing activity delivers maximum return on investment, balancing short-term sales impact with long-term brand building.

Product, Innovation & Packaging

  • Partner closely with NPD and operations teams to bring compelling, insight-led innovation to market at pace.
  • Support packaging design, ensuring shelf standout, brand recognition, sustainability and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee consumer testing, taste panels and competitor benchmarking to continuously sharpen the offer. 

Campaigns, Content & Activation

  • Own the brands content strategy and brand storytelling, ensuring consistent, high-quality storytelling that converts, across all channels.
  • Oversee all social channels and content output, driving reach, engagement and brand relevance.
  • Lead integrated campaigns across in-store, digital, social and PR to drive trial, repeat purchase and long term brand advocacy and loyalty.
  • Ensure fast, effective execution in a short shelf-life, high-tempo category.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 3–5 years’ experience in FMCG brand management, ideally within chilled, food-to-go or impulse categories.
  • Proven experience balancing brand building and commercial delivery.
  • Strong budget management skills with a clear understanding of ROI.
  • Experience managing agencies and creative output to a high standard.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder influence.

Desirable

  • Experience across NI and ROI retail or convenience landscapes.
  • Exposure to short shelf-life categories and rapid innovation cycles.
  • CIM qualification or relevant marketing degree.
