OBW Technologies Ltd, the leading national provider of portable and fixed gas detection sensors and solutions in Ireland, is currently looking to hire a Graduate Scheduler to join our Service team.
Based in the Limerick office, the successful candidate will report to the Customer Service Team Lead and will assist with scheduling the Service team for Service work nationwide. This is a great opportunity for a graduate to join this fast-paced, dynamic, and growing team.
Reporting to the Customer Service Team Lead, the Graduate Scheduler will:
- Assist with the scheduling of the service team, as well as inventory management and documentation for projects.
- Be a result-driven candidate, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks, and have excellent attention to detail and Customer Focus.
Duties to include:
- Scheduling service maintenance for our customers, in addition to preparing and organising the necessary documentation to support this work.
- Maintaining the ERP System by continually creating and updating schedules and applicable details.
- Optimising resources to reduce downtime and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
- Ensuring all equipment is available, serviced, and ready for Service Engineers when they report to customer sites.
- Stock management.
- Providing timely and accurate forecasts of upcoming work, including raising and addressing any anticipated issues. Adjusting schedules to account for unexpected work.
- Providing quotations for service work as required for customers.
- Taking part in project work either departmental or cross-functional as required.
- Maintaining the calibration database and ensuring information is up to date and accurate.
- Ad hoc office administration.
Role requirements:
- Relevant 3rd level qualification.
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Previous experience in the use of scheduling software would be an advantage but not essential.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a timely and professional manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A strong team player with a “can do” attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask within a busy and dynamic environment.
- Can work using own initiative and have a logical and methodical approach to work.
