Hours: 37.5 hours per week (We are open to consider requests for reduced hours)
Salary: £30,900 FTE (pro rata for part time)
Base: Colchester/Hybrid - regular travel across Mid and North East Essex
The Senior Fundraiser will be responsible for securing, developing and managing a portfolio of strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying, and nurturing relationships with a range of existing and new potential partners, including businesses, organisations and high-net-worth individuals.
You will be passionate about mental health and understand the importance of local businesses supporting their employee wellbeing and investing in our award winning The Mental Health Toolkit training programme.
This role will focus on cultivating these partnerships driving fundraising efforts through a mix of activities including events and challenges, staff and membership engagement programmes. Your efforts will directly contribute to the financial sustainability of the charity, enabling us to expand our services and reach more people in need.
We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
- Experience of identifying new opportunities and developing successful partnerships
- The ability to communicate both written and verbally in a compelling and persuasive manner
- Experience of delivering and exceeding ambitious income / sales targets
- IT literacy and experience in effectively using a CRM system for fundraising.
- Developing and managing effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
