Description
Please note: This position may be filled prior to the advertised closing date, as we will be reviewing and interviewing applications on a rolling basis. We strongly encourage early submission of applications.
Step into a role where your expertise can make a profound and lasting difference. As part of Jersey Hospice Care’s specialist palliative care team, you will help shape compassionate, person‑centred care within Jersey General Hospital (JGH), ensuring that every individual and family receives the dignity, comfort, and support they deserve.
In this vital position, you will bring your specialist knowledge and clinical insight to guide and elevate palliative care across the hospital. You’ll work both independently and alongside a highly skilled multi‑professional team, using your judgment, adaptability, and initiative to respond to the evolving needs of patients, colleagues, and services.
Your ability to build strong, trusting relationships will be central to your success. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, other healthcare professionals, and those using our services, you will champion excellence and compassion in every interaction. Your proactive approach will not only influence clinical care, but also contribute to ongoing education, audit, and research programmes that help shape the future of palliative care within Jersey Hospice Care.
Although the role is primarily based at Jersey General Hospital, you will be employed by Jersey Hospice Care and may occasionally support the community team through cross‑cover when required — ensuring continuity and quality of care across our services.
