Alpha Manufacturing, part of The HEX Group, is a privately-owned business fabricating sheet metal in the UK. Alpha designs and produces both sheet metal work components and assemblies. Established in 1989, the company now employs over 180 people. Utilising industry leading technology, Alpha Manufacturing have facilities to design, prototype and manufacture a diverse range of products all in their purpose-built sheet metal fabrication factory in the heart of Staffordshire. 

Having experienced significant growth and success over the last few years, we are looking to strengthen our team with the recruitment of a Project Engineer. 

Role responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the customer throughout the project
  • Ensuring all designs and drawings are fit for manufacture
  • Develop project plans
  • Responsible for critical traceability documentation
  • Leading the introduction of new products for key customers
  • Liaising with Sales, Engineering and Production
  • Continually review time plans and ensure all production activities are completed within the specified timeframes

To be successful in this role the candidate will have the following experience:

  • Engineering background
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience of managing large projects
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
