OBW Technologies is a leading provider of gas detection systems and services in Ireland. We offer a range of solutions for various industries and applications, including fixed and portable gas detectors, calibration and maintenance services and automation software. We are looking for Customer Service Coordination Specialist to join our service department and help us deliver high-quality service and support to our customers.

Based in the Limerick office, the successful candidate will report to the Customer Service Team Lead and will assist with coordinating the Service team for planned service maintenance and callouts nationwide. The successful candidate will be a result driven candidate, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, and have excellent attention to detail and Customer Focus. This is a great opportunity for an experienced planner/scheduler to join this fast-paced, dynamic and growing team.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with customers to schedule planned service maintenance of gas detection systems, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Provide first level customer support, answering queries, resolving issues, and escalating complex cases to the service manager or engineers.
  • Utilise the CRM system to assign tasks, allocate inventory, and update customer information.
  • Coordinate with engineers and technicians to ensure availability, readiness, and compliance of service resources and equipment.
  • Review and maintain customer service reports, records, and documentation.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and collect feedback.
  • Perform quality control reviews of customer facing documentation and reports.
  • A fast learner, able to adapt to changing customer needs and service requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • IT proficient, with experience in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
  • Experience working with engineers and scheduling site works, preferably in the gas detection or related industry.
  • A team player, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A customer-oriented attitude, with the ability to handle customer complaints and expectations professionally and courteously.
