Description

At Host, we don’t just provide student accommodation – we create thriving communities where students can feel happy, safe and supported throughout their university journey. Our mission? To be the best - and that starts with hiring brilliant people like you!

We are on the lookout for a brand new Marketing Manager to join our Central Marketing Team. This is a hybrid role primarily based in our London office with flexibility for home working and regular travel as required.

This is a full time position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 09:00am and 17:30pm. The role offers a salary of £45,000.00 - £55,000.00, reflective of experience and responsibilities.

Why Join Us?

We’re growing fast, but we’re not just about filling rooms and buildings – we’re about people. Our team is passionate, open, and driven by our values: Happy, Open, Secure and Trusted. We believe in creating exceptional communities where students can thrive – and that starts with brilliant, authentic marketing that connects. That’s where you come in.

As Marketing Manager, you’ll help shape how we show up in the world – creating campaigns that inspire, drive bookings and reflect the experience we deliver. From creating bespoke property marketing strategies to day-to-day content, you’ll play a key role in telling our story and supporting our continued growth across the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing
As our Marketing Manager, you’ll bring our brand to life through creative, data-driven campaigns that build awareness, drive occupancy and celebrate everything that makes living with Host special. You’ll take the lead on delivering national and local marketing activity across our student and co-living portfolios – making sure our message hits home in both online and offline formats.

Working closely with the Marketing Director, you’ll manage the campaign lifecycle from concept to reporting, mentor junior team members and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure every project aligns with our goals and values. You’ll also play a key role in team development and continuous improvement. Your role will include:

·       Designing and delivering multi-channel campaigns that boost visibility, engagement and bookings.

·       Managing day-to-day digital activity, including social, SEO, paid search and CRM via HubSpot.

·       Creating content that connects – from blog posts and TikToks to property listings and print.

·       Supporting local marketing plans and promotions tailored to individual sites.

·       Leading on reporting and insight-gathering to optimise campaigns and drive continuous improvement.

·       Acting as brand guardian – ensuring tone, design and messaging stay on point across every channel.

·       Line-managing team members and external agencies to ensure high standards and delivery to deadlines.

Who We’re Looking For
We need someone who’s creative, commercially minded and confident leading campaigns from idea to execution. Ideally, you’ll bring:

·       4+ years’ experience in marketing, with proven success across digital and offline channels.

·       A strong grasp of digital tools – from social media and email marketing to SEO and paid media.

·       Hands-on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and website CMS (like WordPress).

·       An eye for great design and detail, with the copywriting and proofing skills to match.

·       A data-driven mindset – comfortable using insights to optimise campaigns and report on performance.

·       Experience mentoring or line-managing team members or agencies.

·       A collaborative approach, able to build relationships across teams and work at pace.

·       A passion for Gen Z marketing and community-building – plus the curiosity to keep learning.

·       Willingness to travel to our properties and events across the UK when needed.

What’s in It for You?

At Host, we know that happy teams create the best student experiences. Here’s what you’ll get in return:

·       Career growth – we invest in training and development to help you reach your potential.

·       A great work culture – friendly, supportive and built on trust.

·       A role with purpose – making a real difference in students’ lives.

·       Competitive salary & benefits – because great work deserves great rewards.

Benefits include:

·       25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time staff)

·       Extra day off on your Birthday

·       Extra day off annually for volunteering

·       Life insurance

·       Access to our Employee Assistance Programme

·       Plus, all the standard stuff like a pension & cycle to work scheme
