The Company

A privately owned business operating for over 40 years, The HEX Group consists of Bri-Stor Systems, Alpha Manufacturing and Atlas Coatings. Employing over 500 people across the group, the business has experienced significant growth and success over the last few years and are looking to strengthen our Sales team with the recruitment of a Key Account Manager.

The Role

As a Key Account Manager you will manage sales to existing customers and develop new avenues for business growth in both existing and new market segments. 

Key Accountabilities;

  • Work with either new leads, prospected leads or existing customers to identify, develop and capture new opportunities to grow the SME Sales within the Company.
  • Meet with customers to establish their requirements and develop a specification which is then quoted.
  • Ensure all quotations and specifications match the business requirements and KPIs set.
  • Communicate all relevant projects effectively to the wider Bri-Stor Team to ensure successful delivery of the project.
  • Maintain a full understanding of all relevant industry legislation and compliance.
  • Work with Internal Build Managers to ensure the build is completed on time and to the customers’ requirements, resolving any issues as and when they may arise.
  • Provide assistance where required with any tenders the business bid team may put forward.
  • Ensure adequate forecast information is provided to other internal departments to support the planning and resourcing of the organisation.
  • To provide support to the Head of Sales with the business growth strategy where and as required to secure long term growth for the organisation.
  • To work with the Key Account Management team and Head of Sales to ensure Forecast Sales are recorded, monitored and achieved.

The Person

The ideal candidate would meet the following key criteria;

  • Experience in a B2B sales role
  • Technical background either by education or experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines whilst also ensuring legislation is met
  • Ability to work in a team or as an individual
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisation and time manager
