Join a well-respected and leading corporate tax advisory practice based in Solihull. Jerroms Miller Specialist Tax is seeking a Senior Corporate Tax Manager to become a key part of our growing team. The Role

 

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Leading advisory assignments, such as company reconstructions, mergers and acquisitions, share scheme advice, and venture capital schemes.
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members on large client projects and contributing to the development of technical knowledge across the wider team.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for technical queries from clients and other advisors.
  • Collaborating closely with directors on business development activities, identifying opportunities to support existing clients and attract new business.
  • Building your personal brand to become a recognised expert in your area of tax specialism.
  • Expanding your professional network, including attending and speaking at webinars, seminars, and other networking events.

 

The Person

 

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing projects and mentoring team members. You should be confident in building and maintaining relationships with both clients and colleagues, acting as a trusted advisor on technical tax matters.

 

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

 

  • CTA or an equivalent qualification (e.g., ICAS tax qualification).
  • Relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Proficient IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office.
  • Highly motivated and committed to ongoing professional development.
