Description

As Runner you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of ingredient and product transferring between Bakery and Production departments to include organizing quantity of ingredients/ transferring them between two sites effectively, increasing productivity and ensuring highest standards are met.

Duties

  •  Planning, co-ordinating and monitoring the day to day activities of the ingredient transferring between Bakery and Main Deli Lites building while always maintaining quality and Health & Safety standards.
  • Liaising with Purchasing, Bakery and Production Management Team to ensure production processes meet the demands of all sites.
  • Providing support for Bakery night shift by preparing ingredients/ Bread requirements for their nightly production schedule.
  •  Providing first line support in order and pallet building in Bakery and ensuring that orders are dispatched to Main DL Building on an agreed timely basis.
  • Ensuring that all paperwork is updated and completed accurately.
  • Liaising with DL Purchasing, Production and bakery departments to ensure all associated documentation is completed accurately and accounted for.
  • Packing Bakery products by operating tray bake sealing machine when required.
  • Attend daily meetings as and when required, providing information upon request.
  • Assisting in stock management.
  • Transferring Bakery freezer stock in to DL Freezer and locating on to their correct places on shelves.
  • Ensuring that ‘damaged’ products are suitably identified, segregated and relevant departments are informed.
  • Assisting in the correct storage, rotation and proper identification of all food and non-foods.

  • Make product to specification, speed neat work
  • Understand and follow verbal and written instruction.
