Description
The Event Staging Warehouse Technician is an entry to mid-level technical position dedicated to providing the utmost care of IMS equipment through the storage and transportation of this critical gear to and from specialized events. This person will work daily in our Linwood warehouse and professionally represent our company while ensuring receipt and monitoring of audiovisual equipment, as well as during safe and timely deliveries as necessary.

Position Accountabilities and Expectations:

What you will do:
• Load/unload, pack, move, and secure shipping of the appropriate equipment and materials for staging events. Accept, track and account for all returned equipment and tools in designed systems
• Perform basic service functions and all work duties safely by DOT safety standards to ensure no accidents or injuries.
• Ability to be flexible to meet clients or location needs when routes need to be adjusted or changed
• Collaborate with event managers and production personnel to ensure effective communication of specific event/project deliveries, gear availability, and any issues/concerns that may result in ineffective support/service to the client, or event
• Assist in testing the equipment, setting up displays, and other related activities to ensure necessary configurations are adhered to
• Responsible for the safety, cleanliness, and organization of our warehouse and vehicles
• Filling, checking, loading up vehicles, and delivering equipment safely and efficiently

What you will bring:

• Must have a valid driver’s license (with a minimum of 3 years clean driving record) to drive vans/trucks up to 26’
• Proven experience demonstrating a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and embracing a team environment
• 1 or more years of Event Staging/Audio-Visual industry experience preferred, the right candidate will have a minimal amount of field experience in the Audio/Visual industry
• Must be reliable, extremely responsible, and works with safety as a priority
• Proficient PC knowledge and MS Office Suite
• Must have a sense of urgency and an ability to learn new skills quickly
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team and be able to solve problems independently and through collaboration with others
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime based on business needs
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Understanding of Hotel, Convention Center, and Unique Venue Docks - preferred/not mandatory
• Understanding of Marshaling Yard – preferred/not mandatory
