The Company

The HEX Group consists of Bri-Stor Systems Ltd, Alpha Manufacturing Ltd & Atlas Coatings Ltd and we are based in Hixon, Staffordshire. We are a privately owned business employing over 500 people across the group, making us one of the largest employers in the region.

We are looking to strengthen our Marketing team with the recruitment of a Group Digital Marketing Manager.

The Role

As Group Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategic development and execution of all digital touchpoints across The HEX Group and its divisions. You will be responsible for enhancing the customer journey through improved digital experiences, driving adoption and optimisation of our CRM platform, owning website performance and development, and overseeing social media strategy to grow brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

Key Accountabilities:

  • CRM Strategy and Execution
    • Work closely with Sales Directors to align CRM functionality with sales pipelines, lead tracking and customer management needs.
    • Design and implement automated workflows that enhance reporting, visibility and customer communications.
    • Support sales and marketing collaboration by embedding CRM use in campaign tracking and performance reporting. 
    • Lead training and onboarding initiatives to drive CRM adoption and effectiveness across teams.
  • Customer Journey Optimisation
    • Map digital customer journeys for B2B ad B2C audiences, identifying gaps and opportunities across all digital touchpoints.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine processes that improve customer acquisition, conversion and retention. 
    • Use data insights to design and implement strategies that enhance user experience and engagement. 
  • Website Development & UX
    • Own the performance and development of The HEX Group and divisional websites, ensuring they deliver a consistent and effective experience. 
    • Lead UX/UI improvements, content strategy and functionality enhancements in partnership with internal stakeholders and website partner. 
    • Monitor analytics and user behaviour to drive SEO, conversion rate optimisation and site performance. 
  • Social Media Strategy
    • Develop and oversee the social media strategy for the Group and its divisions, alancing brand storytelling with lead generation and engagement. 
    • Manage content calendars, paid campaigns and performance analytics across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. 
    • Use social channels to amplify divisional campaigns such as product launches, customer testimonials and colleague engagement. 

 The Person

Skills and Experience:

  • Essential
    • Proven experience in a digital management role, ideally in a B2B and B2C business.
    • CRM management expertise, with demonstratable experience collaborating with sales teams.
    • Strong understanding or digital customer journeys and UX optimisation.
    • Experience managing websites, CMS platforms and SEO performance.
    • Data-led approach to digital startegy, with hands-on experience using analytics tools.
    • Excellent communication, project management and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Desirable
    • Experience in manufacturing, construction or engineering sectors.
    • Familiarity with Monday.com, HubSpot or similar platforms.
    • Understanding of sales and marketing alignment best practices.
    • Marketing management qualification e.g. CIM
