Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead large-scale construction and lifting operations. You'll work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities for a Project Engineer:

Acting as a point of contact for the customer and site operation teams.

Using your expertise to devise smart engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects.

Conducting site visits and providing conceptual solutions for lifting operations.

Preparing and selecting both existing and renewed engineering statements.

Developing drawings, calculations, visualisations, manuals, risk assessments and other key documents.

Ensuring efficient execution that delivers the right results for the customer with particular focus on safety and quality.

Ensuring high levels of document quality and document control throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Attending site visits to assess customer requirements, along with attendance during operations to manage and motivate the team.

Requirements for a Project Engineer:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering related discipline (Masters in the same field desirable)

Experience working on large scale construction projects

Relevant experience in heavy lift transport, shipping or lifting markets with evidence of delivering targets

Experience with road transportation in all configurations

Experience with lifting operations using mobile cranes, tower crane and crawler cranes

Proven experience of direct client interactions as an engineer

Experience with technical codes and standards

Experience with AutoCAD (Math CAD Desirable) & the Microsoft suite

Excellent Communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences

Quality and detail focused with the approach of ‘Right first time’
