Description

A new role is now live, working with the RKW Ltd Site Team – covering 2 locations in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent and one in Stone, Staffordshire.

 

We are looking for an individual who likes a varied role and is able to multi task, a person who knows how to use various hand tools, is confident with some basic maintenance jobs and isn’t afraid of getting their hands dirty.  Someone who has an eye for detail and can work to a high standard and to a timescale, no experience necessary as training will be provided.  

 

Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30

 

Roles & Responsibilities (to be carried out across all SVG sites):

  • Landscaping & Site presentation – Plan and execute landscaping activities to maintain the presentation of external areas, painting external doors, barriers / trailer guides, jet washing of loading bays.
  • Equipment maintenance / care – Maintain the inventory of landscaping equipment / tools and supplies, requesting replenishments / replacements, ensuring all equipment is kept organised, cleaned & and ready to use.
  • Safety Compliance – Ensure that your work complies with safety regulations and standards.
  • Identify and address any potential danger / hazard in work areas.
  • Communication – A great communicator is essential, with a high level of professionalism as this role requires work in all areas of the business.
  • Regular inspection / audits – Ensuring pool vehicles are prepared for use, inspecting the warehouse racking systems are in good order, preventing delamination of access routes / walkways,
  • Support the Plant & Site team with preventative maintenance on various tasks.
  • Offer support with the annual PAT testing and review cable management at workstations.
  • Weekly pump house system checks.

  • Can work on own initiative and has hands on experience.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and has own transport.
  • Great communicator.
  • Not afraid to learn new skills.

  • Prepared to work externally through all seasons.
