Are you looking for a dynamic role in aviation? Aurigny Air Services is seeking dedicated Ramp Agents / Aircraft De-Icers to join our team at Guernsey Airport. This is a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient turnaround of aircraft, particularly during the winter months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-arrival checks and ensure all equipment is ready.
  • Manage aircraft arrival, including shutdown procedures and safety checks.
  • Oversee offloading and loading processes, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Perform pre-departure and start-up procedures, including walk-around checks.
  • Apply de-icing fluid safely and accurately, maintaining thorough records.
  • Ensure clear communication and teamwork to meet tight deadlines.

Essential Skills:

  • Well-organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with large vehicles (vans, forklifts, HGVs).
  • Good numeracy skills and clear handwriting.
  • Comfortable working at heights.

Requirements:

  • Clear police check and driver’s license.
  • Full five-year history to obtain an airside pass.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to high levels of customer service.
