Description
The Role:
DELI LITES are currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager to lead our Marketing Department.
This is a rare opportunity to work in a fast paced environment within our marketing team, in which you will lead our existing team through planned strategic development of our brand and business growth.
This will be in line with our evolving Commercial Strategic Plan, you will also be tasked with further developing our profitable market share across target Trade Channels and product sectors.

Your Duties:
- · Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, consumer insights, market share and opportunities for growth across all targeted trade channels and product sectors.
- · Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and develop effective marketing strategies.
- · Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to identify areas for improvement, innovation, and growth.

- · Manage our category management and consumer insights and work closely with the NPD team so that they are aligned to deliver category growth based on consumer insights and market trends.
- Continuously track and analyse marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and initiatives.
- · Develop and maintain the brand strategy, ensuring consistent brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
- · Manage the brand guidelines and ensure adherence across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
- · Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling brand stories and messaging.
- · Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, packaging, signage, and digital assets.
- Development of our communication strategy to align with our BCorp Status to ensure that we are using this as a key USP and that we create awareness of our passion for People and Planet.
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various channels, including websites, social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and content marketing
- Optimize online presence and engagement through website management, social media marketing, and online advertising.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging and visually appealing digital content.
- Utilize marketing automation tools and analytics to measure and improve digital campaign performance
- Plan and coordinate participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and activations to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
- Develop creative and engaging booth designs, promotional materials, and activities.
- · Collaborate with sales teams to align trade show strategies with lead generation and sales goals.
- · Manage post-event follow-ups and evaluation to measure the success and impact of trade show participation.
- · Work with external marketing professionals, agencies, and PR partners to develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- · Establish marketing performance metrics and regularly track, analyse, and report on marketing campaign effectiveness.
- · Utilize analytics tools to measure website traffic, user behaviour, and campaign performance.
- · Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and sentiment to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- · Leading and developing staff within the department, ensuring the roles and duties are structured and able to be defined in terms of output.
- · Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external professionals.
- · Regular, monthly , departmental review meetings to ensure that we are continually focused on the right strategic objectives.
Essential Criteria:
- · Third level qualification in a related field and/or significant digital communications, marketing experience.
- · At least 5 years’ experience in a marketing role, preferably Marketing Manager or Head of Marketing.
- · Experience in managing food brands and able to provide proof of this portfolio.
- · Excellent Presentation Skills
- · Experience in driving awareness of sustainability initiatives within a company
Desired Criteria:
- · Senior Marketing Manager with experience in Retail and/or Foodservice .
- · Proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel as well as Photoshop or similar.
- · Category Manager or NPD experience.
- · Good interpersonal skills .
- · Ability to work on own initiative
- · Strategic thinker, good financial awareness , strong man management and negotiation skills
- · Energy, drive and determination to succeed.
- · Able to plan, organise , motivate and control.
- · Enjoys eating and sampling food
- · Passionate about making a difference
