Chief Operations Officer (COO) – Driving Operational Excellence at Aurigny Air Services

 

Aurigny Air Services is seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) to oversee and lead our airline's day-to-day operational performance. Based in Guernsey, this key senior leadership role will report to the CEO and be responsible for ensuring that our flight and ground operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with aviation regulations. The COO will also drive continuous improvement in our service delivery, ensuring we provide a reliable and seamless experience for all our passengers.

 

As the Accountable Manager for our Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC), you will work closely with our teams to manage critical aspects such as fleet performance, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. You’ll be a key part of our senior leadership team, contributing to the strategic direction of the airline whilst ensuring operational resilience in a dynamic and highly regulated industry.

 

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a strategic senior level leader with extensive operational experience within the aviation industry. You will bring line management experience of operations, including operations control and crewing, flight and ground operations, plus a solid understanding of operational regulatory requirements, safety management and the ability to manage complex situations in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will be essential in guiding Aurigny’s operations to meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer care.
