Join the Aurigny Team as a Ramp Agent/Aircraft De-Icer! (Zero Hour Contract)

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Ramp Agents/De-Icers! If you’re an organized, proactive team player with a passion for aviation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You'll Do:

As a Ramp Agent, you'll be responsible for a wide range of essential duties, ensuring that every aircraft receives the attention it needs for safe and smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Pre-arrival Checks: Arriving on time, performing vehicle and stand checks, and ensuring everything is in place for a seamless operation.
Arrival & Offloading Procedures: Handling aircraft shutdown, safety equipment, and ensuring proper passenger and baggage handling with precision.
Loading Process: Safely and efficiently loading passengers and baggage, while following aircraft procedures and safety protocols.
De-Icing: Applying de-icing fluid to aircraft with care and attention to detail during winter months, ensuring aircraft are safe to take off in freezing conditions.
Start-Up & Pushback: Supporting aircraft start-up and pushback processes with an eye for detail and the ability to act under pressure.
Team Coordination: Collaborating with your team, communicating clearly and effectively to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to the highest safety standards.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records and conducting safety checks as per industry regulations and company procedures.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Organized & Detail-Oriented: You must be able to keep track of multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of safety.
Team Player with Communication Skills: Clear communication in English is a must, as you'll be working closely with your team and other departments.
Proactive: You take the initiative to handle challenges as they arise and are comfortable working independently when needed.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work at heights and operate Hi-lift equipment with confidence.
Resilient Under Pressure: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle tight deadlines.
Flexible: Willingness to adapt to varying working hours and be on hand when needed.
