As a Water Utility Worker I, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and operating our water distribution systems. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting inspections, and ensuring the efficient delivery of clean water to our community.

High school degree or G.E.D. and minimum 6 months of experience in water utilities construction, maintenance, or repair, or a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent that provides the required knowledge and abilities. Candidate must pass the pre-employment background check; have a valid Oregon class C driver's license and ability to meet the City of Woodburn's driving standards, have or obtain within 9 months of employment Oregon Public Pesticide Applicator's license; and either possess the following training/certifications or ability to obtain and maintain after employment: Forklift, flagger, first aid/CPR, and Shoring.
