Description

✈️ Join Aurigny Air Services as our Ground Training Manager – Shape the Future of Airside Operations!

Location: Guernsey (with travel to off-island locations)
Type: Full Time | Permanent
Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Aurigny Air Services is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Ground Training Manager to design, deliver, and oversee our ground operations training programs across all our locations. Working closely with our Head of Ground Operations, you will ensure our training meets company standards and regulatory requirements — and that our teams are equipped, confident, and compliant every step of the way.

💼 What you’ll be doing:

  • Design and deliver engaging training programs across the business – from onboarding to annual refreshers, technical, safety, and supervisory skills.

  • Conduct training both locally and at off-island stations, adapting to operational needs.

  • Stay ahead of industry changes and keep all training material and records accurate and up to date.

  • Collaborate with Station Managers and senior leadership to identify training gaps and solutions.

  • Be a vital liaison with the CAA and internal teams regarding Dangerous Goods Regulations.

  • Conduct audits to ensure standards are being met and improved.

  • Produce clear, concise monthly training reports and maintain all training documentation.

  • Step in and support operations when required – flexibility and teamwork are key.

What we’re looking for:

  • A recognised training qualification (e.g., PTLLS / Level 3 Award in Education).

  • Experience delivering training in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment – aviation experience or knowledge would be ideal but is not essential.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with sharp attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – confident in leading both individuals and groups.

  • Tech-savvy with solid experience using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and able to adapt quickly to operational changes.

  • Willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice and for extended periods.

  • A self-starter who thrives on responsibility and continuous improvement.
