Bri-Stor Systems is a market leader in light commercial vehicle conversions and currently convert over 8000 vehicles a year for a number of customers. The Compound Team manage the day to day delivery of incoming and outgoing vehicles, liaising with internal customers, contractors and external customers to ensure vehicles are in the right place at the right time, whatever the weather.

We are looking to recruit a Compound Team Leader to lead our dedicated Compound Team and strengthen service delivery to our internal and external customers alike.

 The Role

Responsible for co-ordinating and supervising delivery of the service provided by the Compound Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage resources to ensure all services are efficiently delivered.
  • Supervise, motivate and manage team members and carry out return to work meetings and performance reviews.
  • Manage requests from contractors for dedicated work spaces.
  • Manage offsite vehicle requests ensuring vehicles are available when required.
  • Ensure all vehicles are inspected on delivery and damage is recorded accurately and reported timely.
  • Provide cover for the planning and logistics team where necessary.
  • Monitor the vehicle tracking system to ensure Bri-Stor employees can easily locate vehicles on the Compound at all times.
  • Ensure all keys are stored securely and vehicles are despatched in a timely manner.
  • Carry out regular audits and checks to ensure all Compound administration is up to date and accurate.
  • Manage compound assets and supplies.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers in a professional manner, raising the profile of the Compound Team and services delivered.
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement to identify efficiencies in day to day working practises.

Suitable applicants will ideally possess the following:

  • Experience of working in a high-pressure environment.
  • Working experience at team leader level.
  • Professional and effective communication skills.
  • Strong organisation skills.
  • Demonstrated decision making ability.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A passion for delivering excellent service.
