Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid)

Due to rapid growth within the business, we’re looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our amazing team at The B2W Group! Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance, the Management Accountant will prepare management accounts to achieve the month end deadlines and support on forecasts and budgets. Key focus will be process improvement, automation and business reporting - if you’re passionate about leveraging your accounting expertise to influence business success, we want to hear from you!

Working as part of a PE backed high growth company, we are looking for an individual who is keen to build on their finance skillset and progress within our company, with opportunities within the group to take on a financial controller role within 18 months and be involved with future business acquisitions. This role is perfect for someone looking to progress their career, bring practical experiences and study into this role, and we can offer progression as well as study support to you if you are currently studying.

Main Responsibilities
• Work as part of a small team, having complete overview of management accounts from revenue recognition to costs for multiple departments.
• Preparation and reporting to deadlines of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheets, cashflow, departmental and overhead analysis and reporting on business KPI’s.
Business Partnering departments across the business with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and timely resolution of reconciling items, as well as reconciliation of revenue control accounts, investigating variances and resolving discrepancies while ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including Group VAT returns and assisting with audit preparation.
• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as required, as well as reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards.
• Review of business and finance processes and procedures to improve efficiency and/or control risk.

The Ideal Candidate
• 3+ years’ experience including production of management accounts.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, knowledge of use of V Lookups and pivot tables with large data sets, and ex
perience of financial ledger packages, MS Dynamics beneficial but not essential.
CIMA/ACA/ACCA part qualified minimum.
