We are on the lookout for a brand new Housekeeper to be the heart of our student community in Trust House and Northernhay, Exeter. This may be subject to change to also include The Northfield, Exeter.
This is a part-time, on-site position, working 30 per week on a changing shift pattern basis. Shifts are typically scheduled from Monday to Friday between either 9am-2pm or 10am-3pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break included for shifts over six hours. The role offers an hourly pay of £19047.60, reflective of experience and responsibilities.

What You’ll Be Doing.
As a Housekeeper, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring students have a clean, safe, and welcoming place to call home. Your role will include:
- Creating an exceptional student experience – keeping communal areas, offices and (when required) student rooms spotless, making sure students feel comfortable and supported.
- Delivering high cleaning standards – carrying out regular and deep cleaning, ensuring hygiene is always a priority.
- Helping prepare rooms for new residents – ensuring a smooth check-in process by making student spaces fresh and welcoming.
- Providing a friendly and approachable presence – interacting with students, responding to their requests and ensuring their needs are met.
- Supporting site operations – maintaining stock levels, reporting maintenance issues and assisting the wider team.
Who We’re Looking For.
We’re after a hardworking, detail-focused team player who is passionate about providing a clean and welcoming environment. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience in housekeeping, cleaning or facilities roles.
- A customer-first attitude with a warm, approachable manner.
- Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
- A proactive approach to maintaining hygiene and presentation.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
