Job Title: Key Support Mentor (FTC until 31.03.2025)
Location: North of Tyne, UK
Salary: £27,000 per annum

Due to rapid growth within the business, we’re looking for a Key Support Mentor to join our amazing team at The B2W Group! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic organisation and make a difference within the community.

The main role of a Key Support Mentor is to empower, engage, build and maintain effective rapport with our participants whilst offering mentoring support to ensure a holistic approach to their progress. You will support a caseload of participants to reach their goal towards employment, addressing their individual barriers and providing mentoring support along the way.

Main Responsibilities
• Conduct assessments with referred participants to assess job readiness and the appropriate level of support required, then identifying the training routeway most suitable.
• Create a tailored Action Plan with the individual, supporting with job searches, training workshops and community-based programs, being the individuals first point of call for work-related activities.

• Provide mentoring support based on the needs of the individual, taking into account income concerns, health & wellbeing and any dependants that may impact the progression to work.
• Participate in various outreach activities including attending job fairs and visits to job centres, community centres and charities to promote the business and ways we can help individuals.

The Ideal Candidate
• Experience in a similar role, speaking to young individuals, particularly those who are NEET, or knowledge of working with care-experienced young people.
• The ability to motivate and empower individuals to get back into work, staying positive and actively wanting to make a difference.
• Hold an IAG qualification.
