Barnsley Hospice is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to join our team and support the vital work we do across our services.

Our volunteers play an essential role in helping us provide specialist care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. By giving your time, skills and enthusiasm, you will help us continue delivering care that truly matters.

About the Role

• As a volunteer, you may support the hospice in a variety of ways depending on the role. This could include:
•  Approaching donators enquiring on their awareness of Gift Aid and its benefits and raising awareness
• Explaining the Gift Aid process and taking all relevant information should a donator wish to register
• Sign Up donor and issue with Gift Aid details
• Create Gift Aid donation receipt and information – mark up the donations and separate all Gift Aid donations in relevant cages
• Tracking Gift Aid donations
•  Process any further information needed in preparation for Gift Aid registration
• Potential involvement at outside events (pop up shops, marketing stalls, fundraising events)
